LEADERSHIP

Hope N. Jones
Founder & Executive Creative Director
The Music Stand was founded from a vision to create meaningful, transformative experiences through music and the arts. As Founder and Executive Creative Director, Hope N. Jones leads the organization with a focus on creative development, artist relations, and community-centered programming.
With a background in hospitality and creative design, Hope brings a unique approach to building environments where artists and audiences feel welcomed, inspired, and supported. Her work centers on cultivating partnerships, developing programs, and curating experiences that elevate both emerging and professional artists. She is also a writer of inspirational publications, and her broader creative work explores innovative approaches across disciplines.
Founding Story
The Music Stand was founded in 2013 by Hope Jones and Arlington Jones. Today, Arlington Jones’s work centers on his performing and recording career, alongside his independent endeavors.
Vision
The Music Stand envisions an arts renaissance—where music and the arts serve as pathways to wellness, connection, and creative expression across communities and generations.
Our long-term vision includes:
We are building toward that future through:
- The development of The Music Stand Performing Arts Center & Museum, a dynamic, state-of-the-art space featuring performance, education, recording, and artist residency environments
- The cultivation of a globally recognized creative hub that supports musicians and artists at every stage of their journey
- Strategic partnerships that expand access to the arts locally, nationally, and internationally
- Dedicated scholarships and support for young artists, ensuring the next generation is equipped, inspired, and sustained
- The pursuit of excellence, including becoming an exclusive Steinway piano facility
